Sysdoc has won the Silver award for Best Game/Simulation at the 2015 LearnX Impact Awards for the interactive learning game 'Keep Calm & Optimise' developed for Fonterra.
The choice of an online game format was a natural fit for achieving the learning objectives of this project given that the mechanics of the subject matter in the real world were very ‘game-like’ themselves. The game format also met the needs of a large audience spread across various geographies, time-zones and business functions. This project exceeded the client requirement for an educational experience that was on-demand, innovative, collaborative and fun beyond the usual instructional methods.
The learning objectives were built into the game through the mechanics, feedback loop and reward system of the game.
