Sysdoc was honoured to participate in the 2023 Minister of Defence Awards of Excellence to Industry.

Sysdoc was presented with a Nominee award for Sub-Contractor of the Year. This award represents the stellar work our Sysdoc team have been doing in the training and learning space since 2022.

The team worked closely with New Zealand Army to develop 25 training aids, which included digitising manuals into easy-to-use reference material for soldiers. From weapon systems to combat theory the material was enhanced and ‘brought to life’ through:

• Video production including live captured video, animation and GIFs
• Design assets including photography and custom graphics
• Digital learning courses including AI generated audio segments.

The purpose of this engagement was to develop an accessible single source of truth that soldiers could use on-demand as a refresher or for preparation, and for instructors to integrate into their lesson plans as revision/preparation content for their lessons - maximising the value of their face-to-face instruction.
