Sysdoc has always done things differently. Founded by commercially-trained pilot Katherine Corich, we were among the first to pull the principles of aviation into a business context. The business was built around those principles - experiential learning, a human-centred approach, data-driven decision making and a culture of fairness above all.

As it turns out, the framework that keeps people safe in the air is just as valuable when it comes to running great companies. We grew our reputation on that innovative basis, building a strong client base initially in New Zealand and building globally. Over 40 years later, we’ve expanded our reach, but we go back to those original principles all the time. Times may have changed, but in today’s complex, fast-moving world, we’re still looking for the simplest, smartest way forward.

Founder
Katherine founded Sysdoc with a vision to bring the principles of aviation to life in other industries. Her contagious entrepreneurial energy galvanises our teams to deliver process and transformation excellence for clients. Katherine is passionate about growing the next generation of change leaders who will help to solve the complex challenges facing organisations and the planet.
Board Member - Non-Exec Director
Maarten is Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Sysdoc group, with responsibility for leading the Sysdoc Risk and Assurance committee. Maarten also acts as Finance Director of the UK business where he is responsible for all investment and financial matters.
Chairman of Sysdoc UK
John met Sysdoc Founder Katherine Corich 20 years ago when he was Chairman of the New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, UK Beachhead Advisory Board. John’s career spans the New Zealand pastoral industry through to senior roles in the UK Insurance market including being Deputy Chairman of Lloyd’s of London in the mid 1990’s. A founder and Vice Chairman of Amlin plc. A past Board Member of New Zealand SOE Genesis Power Limited and Chairman of NZ’s Sounds Air (Airline). John lives in Somerset where he and Ros love their walking on Exmoor. The whole ethos and DNA of Sysdoc excites John who is passionate about strong leadership and good governance.
CEO New Zealand and Australia
Desiree joined Sysdoc in 1993 and, as CEO New Zealand and Australia, leads all aspects of Sysdoc business in the region. Desiree's inspiring and focussed leadership enables teams to deliver the quality solutions our clients have come to expect. As a member of the Sysdoc Global Board she is responsible for leading the company’s business operations globally, executing Sysdoc business strategy and ensuring operational excellence company-wide.

Warren has been leading Sysdoc and teams of Sysdocers since 2011. Previously as Sysdoc's Learning Innovation Lead, Warren worked with a wide range of clients to help them work simpler and smarter, to bring innovation through creative learning, and to use best-in-class methodology to change organisational culture. In 2021 Warren took on the role as Managing Director NZ, continuing his passion about and making Sysdoc a great place to work, super-charging collaboration within our Sysdoc services, and bringing that benefit to our clients.

Guy is an experienced leader with over 25 years in the consulting and transformation world, working across multiple sectors and geographies. Guy joined Sysdoc in 2012 as a Lead Consultant, moving into senior roles including Head of Consulting and Head of Delivery, becoming Sysdoc UK’s Managing Director in June 2022. Guy brings extensive leadership, commercial and consulting experience to his role as MD, and is actively involved in multiple industry bodies, promoting the industry with our clients.

Peter is an accomplished sales professional who is driven to make a measurable difference to organisations he works with. As Head of Growth Peter is responsible for leading a business development team to deliver our world class services and solutions for our clients. He seeks to strengthen Sysdoc’s capability and actively seeks out new and innovative opportunities for growth.
Head of Wellington
As Head of Wellington, Jo provides leadership and support to our thriving and talented team, bringing to the role her strategic consulting, business development and account management expertise. Since joining Sysdoc in 2001, Jo has delivered business transformation, knowledge management and learning solutions to our clients, large and small, and across many sectors. Her friendly style and genuine desire to understand customer needs, coupled with years of experience across our business, enables her to collaborate with clients and consultants to deliver quality solutions that hit the mark.
Head of People and Culture
Anna is an innovative HR professional, who is passionate about driving positive employee experiences by empowering our people to create excellent business solutions for our clients. Anna has a depth of experience working with businesses ranging from large technology corporates through to small companies, and brings this experience in her approach to fresh ideas and continuous improvement. Our people are our greatest asset and Anna strives to develop an environment for us to succeed and become the best we can be.
Head of Digital
Bevan has been part of the Sysdoc team for over twenty years and has helped Sysdoc build a reputation for innovation and delivering highly intuitive knowledge bases, intranets, and digital solutions. In equal measure to his technical expertise, Bevan possesses a unique understanding of end-user needs. One of his greatest attributes is his ability to move easily between the needs of the end-user and the technical solutions, which deliver the simplicity they require.

Key Account Director
Paul is a passionate sales leader with 15 years experience delivering change and transformation programmes across multiple industries, often digitally enabled. Paul is focused on finding solutions to land lasting change. A specialist in learning, change, process and knowledge management, Paul is focused on ensuring business readiness at go-live and improved business performance beyond.
Head of Learning Innovation
Gaynor has over 20 years’ experience in senior HR, Change and Transformation, Learning and Communication roles, in the UK and globally. Her background is a mix of in-house and consulting. She has extensive experience in large, complex transformations and leading teams covering digital enablement, to operating model and culture change. Gaynor has been with Sysdoc since 2019 and is the Head of Learning Innovation. Her passions are people and strategy, and how the combined knowledge and skills of people help achieve organisational outcomes.
Head of Transformational Change
An experienced and pragmatic change lead, with 20 years of change management experience, working across multiple industries, technologies and large-scale, global reach change programmes. Jo works with clients to advise on best practice change management with an outcome based and pragmatic approach, understanding that each organisation has different requirements to make change land successfully. Jo has been at Sysdoc since 2013, leading the Transformational Change Community as well as driving key accounts to achieve outstanding results for her clients.
Head of People
Jimi is an experienced and passionate People Leader in SME businesses. He believes in supporting people via modern and pro-active tools, with clear and simple interventions. He enjoys getting things done well whilst building strong relationships via engaging approaches with stakeholders. Jimi’s focus is on delivering a tangible difference to Sysdoc’s performance and culture through the design, delivery then a full embedment of robust people, talent (Acquisition & Development) and operational strategies.
